Instead, Cole stood atop Empire City's tallest skyscraper, overlooking the still healing city that he helped rebuild. He sighed as he watched the sun fall into the bay, a slight breeze blowing sweet scents across his face. People were happy, finally returning to their normal lives. The power was back up in the city, most of the gangs cleared out, and the plague had been all but completely washed from the system of Cole's hometown. And everybody thanked him for it. Nolan and Alex stood facing each other, their faces expressionless. No noise pierced the air, nothing but the sound of the two's steady breathing.

Nolan was the first to break the silence, "I'm going to kill you today, you know."
"Oh, I could have sworn this was reality, but apparently you're dreaming," Alex sneered, drawing a pistol from his hip.
Nolan chuckled, " How juvenile," he replied calmly, but spread his feet, expectent.
Alex yelled, pulling the trigger and firing off several shots. Nolan dove to the side, narrowly avoiding bullets. He rolled and
The Assassin heard her admonishing the Duke for his behavior. She said he was acting bizarre. Not suprizing; fear could do that to a man.
"I can't condone what you've done," she said angrily, accusingly.
"What I've done?" he yelled, "All I've done is taken precautions for my own life!" His wife just didn't understand. He was merely a scapegoat to his superiors, and ever since he'd heard of the Assassin's arrival in the city, he'd had nothing but fitful rest every night. Alex turned, "Well, I just don't think we should make a habit of breaking into vampires' dens."
Why not? It was kind of fun," he said, smiling innocently.
"Except for the fact that, now, the rest of Gabrial's clan will want us dead."
James pursed his lips, "Well, it's not like they're going to find us anytime s--"

What is time? If anybody can answer this for me, I beg of you, please do. Time is something I think about often. It's just an idea! Its just something thats there... But no, its not there, its not anywhere. Its just an idea. But we are affected by it, over time, things degrade. How are we affected by something that doesn't exist? Or are we? Do we just think that we should degrade therefore we do? Who was the first one who thought of time? Who started time, what turned it on? Now, they say that time would form the symbol of infinity, no beginning, no end, always repeating. A paradox, in itself. But time is always moving forward, always changin
